Mitsui & Co. has become the financial partner of the Australia-Japan Innovation Fund(AJIF) in 2024.

Mitsui is engaged in a wide range of business in Australia including Iron Ore, Coal, and other metal resources, as well as Energy, Chemicals, and Food. By partnering with AJIF, Mitsui aims to support joint research institutes between Australia and Japan that will promote new technologies, innovation, and sustainable growth, including decarbonisation and other initiatives.
